“Art For Climate Justice” David Suzuki Foundation

Objective: I had the honor of collaborating with a group of artists from all over Canada to share perspectives on climate change and create artwork that promotes Climate Justice Now! The goal of this event, hosted by the David Suzuki Foundation, was to speak up as a community and share our concerns through our artwork that has been sent to various political people in power and shared on social media and through posters.

Together we can make the future brighter

It’s not natural to see animals tied up in nets, our planet on fire, rivers poisoned with toxins, oceans choked with microplastics. Those who have lived here the longest and know nature better than anyone else are the ones suffering, their voices unheard. Children are growing up wondering whether they can survive. Nature deserves better, and so do our children. If we love this place we call home, we must protect it and listen to Indigenous People.
